Bring scattered information together
Company profiles and supporting documents become easier to find and review when gathered through a structured EOI.
FOR MUNICIPALITIES · TOWN COUNCILS · VILLAGE COUNCILS
Turn an expression of interest into a clear picture of who can supply your municipality’s products, works and services.
01 / MAKE THE MARKET VISIBLE
A new building. A failed pump. A fleet repair. The first question is often the same: who has the capability to help?
Company profiles and supporting documents become easier to find and review when gathered through a structured EOI.
Give established businesses, SMEs and emerging local suppliers an opportunity to show what they can offer.
Understand available capabilities before refining a scope, seeking quotations or planning a formal procurement process.
A supplier profile connected to the right products and services becomes useful market intelligence.
02 / FROM INTEREST TO INTELLIGENCE

Tara Nawa compiles an expression of interest to gather supplier information. Suppliers connect their company profiles to the categories they can serve.
Agree the municipality’s needs, categories and information requirements. Tara Nawa compiles the EOI.
The municipality approves the invitation and publishes it through the appropriate channels.
Suppliers link their company profiles to relevant categories and upload all required company documents to WebPortunities.
Responses and mandatory supplier documents are available through the WebPortunities portal for municipal review and procurement planning.
When a need arises, use the relevant categories to identify suppliers to approach through the applicable process.
03 / PUT IT TO WORK
Start with the requirement. Follow the category links. Find relevant capabilities and supplier profiles.
A building project can involve more than a builder: engineering, electrical works, plumbing, security and professional support may all be relevant.
Illustrative workflow. The examples show category connections; they do not select or recommend actual suppliers.
Check capability, location, contacts and supporting evidence, then follow the applicable quotation or procurement process.

05 / SEE THE DIRECTORY IN ACTION
Tara Nawa’s business directory already brings together company information, services, locations, brands and document indicators.

06 / COMPANY DOCUMENTS & RENEWALS
Suppliers upload all the company documents required by the municipality to WebPortunities. Municipal officials access them through the portal, alongside the supplier’s company profile.
Suppliers upload their certificates, registration records and other requested documents directly to the portal, and update them when renewed or changed.
The documents remain available through WebPortunities. The municipality does not need local filing cabinets or a separate system to store and manage these supplier documents.
When documents are due to expire, WebPortunities issues renewal notices to suppliers so they can take remedial action and upload renewed documents.
EXAMPLES OF REQUIRED COMPANY DOCUMENTS
The municipality specifies the documents relevant to the supplier and the intended business relationship. Examples include:
This is an example list. Suppliers can upload all documents required by the municipality, including additional document types where applicable.
DOCUMENT EXPIRY & RENEWAL NOTICES
WebPortunities also takes care of issuing renewal notices. Suppliers are notified when their documents are due to expire, giving them the opportunity to obtain updated documents and keep their portal records current.
A certificate or other time-limited document approaches its expiry date.
WebPortunities notifies the supplier that action is needed.
The supplier renews or replaces the document and uploads the updated version to the portal.
The municipality confirms its required documents and reviews their completeness, validity and currency before doing business with a supplier. Its own procurement-record retention obligations still apply.
07 / DISCOVER THE MARKET PROTECT THE PROCESS
This service supports market engagement, supplier intelligence and access to mandatory documents. It does not replace, bypass or interfere with the procurement procedures that municipalities and local government institutions must follow.
